Teen Shot In Head Fighting For Life At Hospital, Baltimore Police Say

Police say that a 16-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot in the head on Wednesday night.

The teen was shot in the head in the 2600 block of Carver Road in Baltimore.

Officers from the Baltimore City Police Department were called shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, to the 2600 block of Carver Road, where there were reports of shots fired involving a teenager.

Upon arrival, officers found the 16-year-old with a gunshot wound to his head. He was treated at the scene and rushed to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, officials said.

Due to the severity of the teen's injuries, homicide detectives from the department have been notified to join the investigation. 

The shooting remains under investigation.
